100 Club

PURPOSE

The 100 Club is a private lottery, open to members only – which was initially formed in 2022 to help generate funds for the Club’s chosen charity.

In December 2025, installation of a new stairlift at The Lindfield Club was chosen as the purpose for all our fund raising efforts so that we can help improve the Club’s facilities.

RULES

1. For the cost of £5 per monthly draw you will be allocated one number between 1 & 100
2. The draw will be made monthly on the 2^nd Tuesday of the month following the Committee meeting by blind picking a numbered ball for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizes in that order
3. The prizes will total 50% of the monthly income, which will be apportioned as follows: 1^st prize of 50%, 2^nd prize of 30%, 3^rd prize of 20%
4. The 100 Club is a private lottery and is open to all members and staff of The Lindfield Club. The minimum age for participation is 18. Entry can only be made on the Club premises by completing a sign-up form.
5. Entries are limited to five per 100 Club participant
6. The 100 Club shall not be limited to one hundred members
7. Payments are to be made by standing order. One month’s notice is required for cancellation
8. Your allocated number(s) will only be entered if your 100 Club subscription is up to date
9. If there is deemed to be no valid reason for missing a payment your number may be sold to someone on the reserve list
10. The prizes will be paid into the winner’s bank account within one week of the draw
11. Notification of the name and number of each month’s winners will be posted in the Club newsletter, on the noticeboard and on the website
12. The 100 Club will be run and administered by The Lindfield Club. In case of any dispute the decision of the Committee will be final
13. A member will be deemed to have left the 100 Club if his/her renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month
14. If a winner cannot be contacted the winnings will be placed into the Charity funds after six months
15. The Club reserves the right to change the prize values as long as the proportion of the prize money remains at 50% of the income
