Last year we raised £5000 for 'Parkinson uk -Sussex branch'
This year's 2017 charity is
Beating Blood Cancer since 1960
This charity was founded back in 1960 by the Eastwoods, a family who lost their 6 year old daughter Susan to leukaemia. At the time, most people thought nothing could be done, but Susan's parents saw things differently.
55 years on they've invested over half a billion pounds in research. Together with their researchers, supporters and donors, they've transformed the lives of people with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders - but they won't stop until every single person with blood cancer survives and can live their life to the full.
